The founder of the company, Thomas Stadler, is at the center of things, supported by a strong list of free-lance collaborators for specific tasks. Thomas Stadler has been active in the field of electronic documentation and information processing since 1977; since 1987 he has been specifically concerned with questions of information management and SGML. As deputy managing director at STEP GmbH from 1992 to 1998, Stadler was head of R&D, and then head of advisory services and training. Carrying out national and international projects he accumulated wide-ranging experience of publishing, business and public institutions. The fields he has worked in include: software design and implementation, project management, technology procurement, procedures for tendering and evaluation of tenders (from both perspectives), document management, work flow analysis, data modeling, information analysis, conversion strategies and conversion implementation. On April 1, 1998 he left STEP in order to continue offering neutral advisory services, and set up organon Knowledge Architectures. | |||
